No one sells more draglines than Bucyrus. That's because of Bucyrus' relentless goal to keep raising the technology bar.

Draglines

Draglines are the largest single bucket excavators built today and Bucyrus designs and manufactures the world's most technologically advanced.

Draglines are a primary excavating tool used in many surface mining operations worldwide. These highly productive machines operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week and are able to reach depths of 262 feet (79.8 m) with capacities up to 152 cubic yards (116.2 cubic meters). Offering the lowest material removal cost per ton (tonne) and an average operating life of 40 years, draglines are the most productive and versatile machine in the industry. Bucyrus offers more than 45 dragline specifications and an on-staff application engineer who will help determine the solution that best addresses the mine's specific needs.
